This page will display current information on activation for AUXCOMM resources in Florida Please remember that in no case do amateur radio operators “Self Deploy”. Deployment orders will come from one of 3 places:
- Florida Amateur Radio Liaison
- Florida AUXCOMM Coordinator
- Local Served Agency
- Current Incident- ISAIAS
- Current Status- Activating 2200 CT
- 205 – First operational period

- We will begin monitoring SHARES & amateur radio frequencies at 2200 CT on 10/9 and remain active until we verify that auxiliary communications aren’t needed.
- We will not start an “active” net on SARNET unless required. The State EOC will begin monitoring SARNET at 1300 CT.
- Deployment Information –
- For anyone willing to deploy, we have an online form for signing up to be available. Completing this form does not guarantee that someone will deploy, and phone interviews will be conducted ahead of the deployment. Completion of the AUXCOMM class is preferred for deployable resources however prior deployment or experience can be accepted depending on the individual (as well as ARES taskbook level 2 or higher completion.)
